New Marching Band Uniforms

Drum majors thank Harringtons

During the halftime show at the homecoming game Saturday, October 4, the Foxboro High School marching band recognized Larry and Judee Harrington and John and Janet Spinney. The generous gift of these two families made possible the purchase of new band uniforms and matching rain gear, the first new ones for the band in 30 years.

FHS Marching Band 2008-2009

Marching Band Marching band camp was held during the week of August 18. This year's theme is based on the Paul Simon song "Late in the Evening" from the 1980 soundtrack of the movie One Trick Pony. Led this year by Sam and Maria, the 84-member Foxboro High School marching band, performs this number as part of its half-time show, as well as several pieces performed from the stands. The marching band plays for most home games and the Thanksgiving Day Foxboro/Mansfield game. They also march in the Memorial Day Parade and the Founder's Day Parade.

This year's marching band has the privilege of wearing brand new uniforms. Thanks to the generosity of the Harrington and Spinney families, the band has state-of-the-art uniforms, similar to ones used by the top university marching bands in the country.
